Principal, Amec Foster Wheeler
Peter is the Global Sustainability/Climate Resilience Lead at the International Environmental and Infrastructure firm Amec Foster Wheeler, Director of their partnership with the 100 Resilient Cities organization and based in Portland, Maine. He is responsible for supporting resilience solutions at cities both in (and beyond) the 100RC network and supports clients in the water and transportation sectors. In this role he integrates sustainability and resilience into projects with the best global resources, strategic teaming partners and tools to drive synergy, collaboration and innovation. Sustainability and Resilience projects have included the NYC Office of Resilience and Recovery, City of LA, Wakefern Foods, Nashville Airport, U.S. Coast Guard, Miami Beach Resilience Team, National Park Service, New York City Transit, a power company global waste footprint study, Heathrow Airport, the Vancouver Water Department, Cominco Mining (Arctic Circle) and several Fortune 500 clients.
He has an Integrated Management Credential from the USM School of Business, a B.Sc. Degree from St. Lawrence University and is accredited to the International Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) framework.
