Director, New Orleans Office of Global Green USA
Michelle Pyne is the Director of the Global Green New Orleans Office, and oversees programs to foster a global value shift toward a sustainable and secure future. She leads Global Green’s Holy Cross Project, a sustainable building project in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans. In this capacity she coordinates operations of the Visitor Center, a LEED Platinum model home toured by over 25,000 visitors, and oversees construction of Phase II, the Community Development and Climate Action Center. She also serves as the Project Manager for the Solar for Sandy initiative in New York, identifying partners and working to install solar battery back-up systems in community facilities.
Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech and is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction.
