Megan Rowling is a correspondent with the Thomson Reuters Foundation (TRF) and the editor for Zilient.org, a new online global resilience network. Now based in Barcelona, she has over 20 years’ experience as a text, online and broadcast journalist, and has worked with TRF since 2005, specialising in humanitarian and development issues, including climate change and disaster risk reduction. She initiated TRF’s climate change coverage, which has grown into an award-winning news service delivering content focused on the developing world to Reuters’ clients and beyond. In 2016, she won a U.N. Foundation award for coverage of the United Nations’ humanitarian work.
