CEO, Louisiana Association of Nonprofits
Kelly currently serves at the 4th President and CEO of the Louisiana Association of Nonprofits – a statewide organization that supports the nonprofit sector. Kelly previously served as the Director of Organization Services and Community Development for the Louisiana Division of the Arts for over seven years. During that time she served on grant panels for South Arts, Arkansas Arts Council, and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation. She has also worked as the Development Director for Swine Palace, Development Director for the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, Marketing and Public Relations Director for the New Orleans Opera, and held the title of Executive Director of the Center for the Arts in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was the Development Associate for TheatreworksUSA in New York City, worked as a staff member on the 2002 Drama Desk Awards and worked for off-Broadway producer Eric Krebs. In addition to her experience in arts administration, she was the Production Manager and Company Manager at the Clarence Brown Theatre in Knoxville, Tennessee. She has presented at international, national and statewide conferences such as the Association of Theatre in Higher Education and the World Cultural Economic Summit. In the fall of 2013 and 2015, Kelly served as adjunct faculty at Louisiana State University teaching Advanced Development Strategies. She has recently served on the National Council of Nonprofits Membership Committee, the Independent Sector National Conference Committee, and the Board Source Local Host Committee. She has also served as an advisor for her sorority Alpha Delta Pi – University of LA -Lafayette. Kelly is a native of Baton Rouge and a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she received the Hunter Hills Scholarship for academic and artistic excellence. She is also a member of Actors’ Equity Association. She lives with her son Noel and their Katrina rescue dog Francis.
