Dr. Jeffrey Czajkowski is the Willis Research Network Fellow and a Senior Research Fellow at the Wharton Risk Management and Decision Processes Center. His primary research fields are the economics of natural hazards and environmental economics and his research has been published extensively in leading risk, natural hazards, and environmental economics journals. He and his colleagues at the risk center provide research-based guidance on managing the risks associated with low-probability but high-consequence events, integrating risk assessment and risk-perception with risk management strategies. The risk center shares its findings and knowledge through publications, conferences and workshops and has a long tradition of interaction with top policymakers and senior executives in the industry.
