Information Technology Consultant
Mr. Sopel is an Information Technology Consultant with 17 years of experience in the public safety sector. Jeff, has supported projects at all levels of Government and collaborated with other industry partners to work on the goal for whole of community planning and operations. Currently Jeff just completed a Flood Resiliency Experiment with the New Orleans community and is now engaged in CAUSE V, a cross-border disaster planning and recovery project up on the British Columbia/Washington border.
Prior to his role at G&H, Jeff worked at ESRI for 11 years and supported a wide range of industries before joining the ESRI Homeland Security Team with the purpose of integrating Geospatial technologies and solutions to assist in the mission of protecting the Homeland.
Projects that Mr. Sopel has supported range from DHS S&T’s Virtual USA, CAPSTONE 14, Mutual Aid/EMAC to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s VIPER platform and the 2012 DNC.
