Senior Fellow, US Water Alliance
Elisa is a Senior Fellow at the U.S. Water Alliance, where she draws on her decades of experience in the water industry to help the Alliance achieve its vision of a sustainable water future for all. She is a former Senior Vice President for Fortune 500 global project management firm CH2M, where she worked with public and private sector water clients across the country and around the world. She has also been on the utility side of the business, serving as deputy director of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, and a project manager for the Boston Water and Sewer Commission.
Elisa chaired the board of the global non-profit Water For People, from whom she received the Robert Hite Award for her work to end water and sanitation poverty. She was an officer of the American Water Works Association, and received that organization’s Outstanding Service and Honorary Membership awards. She is also a longstanding member of the Water Environment Federation.
Elisa earned a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Boston College. Originally from Boston, Elisa has lived in New Orleans since 2002, and is a passionate advocate for Louisiana’s culture and environment.
