Director of the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, City of New Orleans
Aaron Miller is the Director of the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. In this role, he oversees daily operations of the office, maintains emergency operations center readiness, and implements the strategic and tactical objectives outlined by the Mayor in regards to public safety. Prior to this, Mr. Miller served as a Clinical Researcher and Research Specialist for New Orleans EMS, where he also worked as a special event liaison, and as the Emergency Management Specialist for Tulane University. After completing his Master’s in Public Health, Mr. Miller was a Mayoral Fellow, for the City of New Orleans in the Health Department and for EMS.
