With the increasing frequency and severity of major weather events, the insurance industry – in concert with government agencies – will play a key role in determining how states should prepare for and respond to disasters. During this panel session, attendees will hear from current and former government officials about the ongoing effort to better and more cost effectively protect and insure homes and businesses against weather-related natural disasters.
