FEMA is spearheading an effort, in partnership with the whole community, to develop National Resilience Guidance to help provide a framework for how we can collectively increase our nation’s resilience. The guidance will promote a common understanding of resilience, incorporate the relationship between stressors and shocks, address the critical roles of all stakeholders, and inspire fresh, forward-looking, and people-centered planning approaches to move the needle on increasing community and national resilience.
We are offering an opportunity for you to join FEMA in an interactive discussion during lunch at ResCon on April 26th. Victoria Salinas, the Senior Official Performing the Duties of Deputy Administrator for Resilience, and FEMA colleagues will take this opportunity to get your feedback on how to mold and shape the National Resilience Guidance.
Please let FEMA know if you are interested in joining this discussion by replying to national-resilience@fema.dhs.gov.
