Surge Barrier Boat Tour

Visit the 1.8-mile-long IHNC Lake Borgne Surge Barrier, the largest design-build civil works project in the history of the USACE. The tour will cover the Multiple Lines of Defense Strategy, the framework used to design flood control and wetland restoration projects in coastal Louisiana. Explore by pontoon boat. 8:15AM – 11:45AM

City Of New Orleans Resilience Tour

Explore the innovative resilience projects happening in the City of New Orleans in partnership with the City of New Orleans Office of Resilience and Together New Orleans. Stops will include Community Lighthouse resilience hubs and green infrastructure projects.
